This is Step 1

1.Show Players the starting line and finish line for the game.
2. Direct all the Players to stand in line behind the starting line.
3. Explain that when the Game Zone Leader shouts “Green Light,” Players can run towards the finish line. When the Game Zone Leader shouts “Red Light,” Players should            stop immediately. Players who do not stop at “Red Light” must “1. Stop, 2. Turn Around, 3. Go Back, 4. Start Over the Right Way.”
4. Have the Game Zone Leader alternate between shouting “Green Light” and “Red Light.” The first Player to reach where the Game Zone Leader is standing wins.
5. Play more rounds as time allows.

Sonal and Mishal: Sunday had arrived!  Identical twins Sonal and Mishal, who were ten years old, were dropped off at Sunday School by their parents who went to church. The twins enjoyed meeting their friends and playing with them.  They loved their new teacher, Tubby Akka. She was so nice! They loved each other too!

Esau and Jacob: After morning prayer, Tubby Akka said, “Children, would you like to hear the story of Esau and Jacob?” The children replied loudly, “Yes, Akka!” Bible stories always have a lesson to teach!  Tubby Akka began the story. “Esau and Jacob were twins. Their mother was Rachel. Their father was Isaac. The twins were very different from each other, unlike our Sonal and Mishal.” Everybody looked at the twins. It was very difficult to tell them apart. They were like Xerox copies! The twins felt excited that everyone in class was looking at them.  “Esau, the older boy was rugged and hairy.” continued Tubby Akka. “Jacob was fair and smooth skinned.  Esau liked to hunt. Jacob liked to look after sheep.  They were so different!” 

“Children, what do you do when you are very hungry?” “We eat!” replied the children. “If I ask you to do 10 frog jumps for your food, would you?” “Yes, Akka!” The children laughed and began to jump around the class. Akka promised them a toffee each after class. She continued her story. “One day, Esau went hunting and came home very hungry. Jacob was making stew at home.” Esau asked Jacob for a bowl of stew. Esau and Jacob used to fight a lot.” That’s sad, isn’t it? They were brothers! “Since Esau was older, he had been given the birthright to his father’s property. Jacob asked Esau for his birthright in exchange for a bowl of stew! Esau agreed because he was so hungry.!” Jacob had cheated Esau. “Esau got cheated once again when Jacob took his father’s blessings pretending to be Esau!” So cunning and greedy! Esau was cheated for the second time by his twin brother! Sonal and Mishal looked at each other in shock. They would never cheat each other! “After cheating Esau, Jacob ran away from his brother and lived for 20 years in Haran. He felt guilty after these years and wanted to say sorry to his brother.” Jacob realized that forgiveness and blessing could only come
from God. He prayed and begged for forgiveness. God gave him a new name, “Israel” which means “he who wrestles with God.” “Esau had a kind heart. He loved and forgave his brother.” Tubby Akka noticed that the class had gone silent. All the children were thoughtful.  She asked them these questions. Would you deceive your brother or your friend? Would you feel bad for doing wrong? Would you apologize? Would you seek God’s forgiveness? Would you forgive someone who has wronged you?

“Children, in today’s world, we all face temptation to cheat. But we need fight that temptation. And when someone cheats us, we must be willing to forgive him or her.
